prayer

It doesn’t depend on me… It depends on God.  or rather I depend on God!  It depends on depending on God. Christ said “Without me you can do nothing” and admitted that without the Father he could do nothing!  He only did what he saw the Father doing; He only spoke what the Father said.

One way of describing prayer is that it is placing things in the Father’s hands, where they rightfully belong.  Where things are beyond our control we place them in the hands of the one with the most power and the best motives of anyone in the universe.  This is why the Bible says “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”

Anxious about nothing, praying about everything.  If I am anxious about something, no matter how small, I can give it to the Father.
